Are looking at buying a new Omega juicer? Perhaps one of the popular vert juicers they offer? If so, you may have noticed that there are two models by Omega that look the same. I will explain the differences between the Omega VRT 330 HD and the Omega VRT 350 HD.
First, the HD signifies heavy duty and it is referring to the screen. It is stronger and more durable than the screens on the standard Omega 330 and 350 models. So, if you want a stronger screen then choose the 330 HD or the 350 HD.
Secondly, there are different color options. The VRT 330 comes in white pearl and the VRT 350 HD comes in silver and black. Note that it is not chrome, simply a silver and black plastic finish. If you want a chrome vertical juicer look at the Kuvings Silent Juicer in Chrome. It’s awesome. The color is the only thing that differentiates the the VRT 330 HD and the VRT 350 HD. If you want white choose the 330 HD and if you want silver (more popular) choose the VRT 350 HD. If you do not care about the heavy duty screen and would like to save more money look at the Omega VRT 330 and the Omega VRT 350 (notice it does not say “HD”).
You should also consider the Kuvings Silent Juicer which comes in black pearl (beautiful), white pearl, Chrome, and a silver and black finish. A new zero – emission eco green version of the iconic London Black Cab taxi the LTI TX4 was unveiled in London. It is eco powered by a hydrogen fuel cell
The vehicle, which is the result of the collaboration between Intelligent Energy, Lotus Engineering, LTI Vehicles and TRW Conekt, is the first step in a plan to turn London’s taxis into a zero emissions vehicles by 2020. A fleet of hydrogen fuel-cell powered black cabs will be on London’s roads by 2012.
For the Fuel-Cell Black Cab, Lotus Engineering has packaged the full propulsion system including the fuel cell engine and has designed control systems to optimise performance of both the fuel cells and electric drive systems. TRW Conekt led the safety analysis program, including braking and steering systems, and LTI has provided donor vehicles to assist with the structural modifications to the chassis of the taxis.
London’s Deputy Mayor for Policing and Chair of the London Hydrogen Partnership, Kit Malthouse, who unveiled the zero emissions fuel cell hybrid taxi at London’s City Hall, said, “The black cab is a much loved London icon, but it is also a significant source of pollution especially in the centre of the city. This prototype Fuel Cell Black Cab, which emits only water from its tailpipe, is an exciting glimpse of how hydrogen technology could soon play a vital role in cleaning up air quality for urban dwellers.”
The London Metro reveals there are approximately 21,000 black cabs in the UK each emitting around 243g/km of CO2. They calculated that if all the 380,000 visitors to the olympics took a zero emissions cab from Heathrow to the Olympic park they’d save 3 million kg od CO2 from entering the atmosphere.
Yes but here’s the thing………….
1) They could take a train
2) They could stop eating meat!
If everyone in the UK abstained from eating meat for one day a week, this would save 13 Mtons CO2 of greenhouse gas emissions *

I just saw that Glen Beck has been on a vegan diet for some health reasons and he even commenting on wheatgrass. It made me laugh. See below. This was taken from http://blog.tonic.com/glenn-beck-goes-vegan-who-what-huh/
“First Mike Tyson (a man who has tasted human ear) blows our socks off with the news that he has been vegan for the past two years and now right wing pundit Glenn Beck is going around touting the virtues of the vegan lifestyle. Should we feel like bad people for being so surprised? Honestly this is a tribute to how far the vegan movement has come that two of the most red-blooded men in America aren’t just embracing the movement, but are providing a platform for it.
Anywho, Beck recently told a Chicago crowd that he has adopted a vegan diet for health reasons. He was stereotypically blow-hardy about the whole thing.
“I had a glass of wheat grass last night,” he said. “I actually drank this stuff and I ended up with a blade of grass in my mouth, I’m not kidding you, it is awful. I’m eating crap. I don’t even know.”
He isn’t exactly the best spokesperson, but still all press is good press for a diet that only a few years ago was considered a little bit precious for men to talk about in public. We support Glen and we know some wonderful vegan recipes that won’t taste like crap. Give us a buzz Beck.”
